“Train a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old he will not turn away from it." Proverbs 22:6

It is part of our work and mission at Christ Lutheran Church to assist parents in the development of their children. We feel that our Early Childhood Center offers young children a Christian setting in which to grow, learn, and develop physically, spiritually, intellectually and socially.

We also believe our Christian center offers your child an outstanding opportunity for achieving the goals of Christian education outside the home. It will help them develop healthy personalities, form values, develop their consciences, feelings, and attitudes, which form the foundation for a positive self-image and good relationships.

Our Center features the benefits of:

  • Child care, as well as two preschool classes and pre-kindergarten (A child enrolled in our Child Care program is included in our class programs at no additional charge).
  • Small class sizes with a nurturing, loving environment
  • Curriculum which develops both skills for life and skills for school
  • A large play ground
  • Morning and afternoon snacks
  • A hot lunch, served Monday through Thursday. Children bring a sack lunch on Fridays.

Non-Discriminatory Policy

Our center admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to the children at the Center.

Thus a child learns;
by wiggling skills through his fingers and toes and into himself;
by soaking up habits and attitudes of those around him;
by pulling and pushing his own world.

Thus a child learns;
more by trial and error
more through pleasure than pain,
more through experience than suggestion,
more through suggestion than direction.

Thus a child learns;
through affection;
through love,
through patience,
through understanding,
through belonging,
through doing,
through being.

Day by day
the child comes to know a little bit of what you know;
to think that a little bit of what you think;
to understand your understanding.
That which you dream and believe and are
in truth, becomes the child.

As you perceive dully or clearly
as you think fuzzily or sharply;
as you believe foolishly or wisely;
as you dream drably or goldenly;
as you bear false witness or tell the truth—
THUS A CHILD LEARNS
